Yummy! Lysette was a pleasure to work with and understood all my requirements (I know what I want!) on the day the cake looked amazing and tasted delicious. We had so many compliments. Would definately recommend.

Lysette behaviour was appalling and caused us a great deal of stress. She ruined our wedding cake, the colours were wrong, sugercraft was shoddy and the buttercream tasted off. Let us down last minute with a cake stand and became aggressive when we complained. We had to take our complaint to the ombudsman.If you would like to see examples of her work email me as not surprisingly she hasnt included our cake in her portfolio. Please save yourself the upset and look elsewhere, not recommended.
Where do I start with saying how amazing these cakes are!! From the very first enquiry, to the consultation, to our big day, Lysette's service is simply outstanding! She has such a talent and is so great at helping you to decide what cake to have. We had a strict budget to stick to and she made sure we had the best cake we could! She is so reasonably priced and we had so many compliments on how it tasted. The flavours are amazing such as white chocolate and raspberry and salted caramel - yum!!! I even had a guest who didn't like cake try it and loved it!! Cannot recommend The Couture Baker enough, do not hesitate to get in touch and book!
