We had a afternoon tea voucher for our 40th anniversary. We booked and went along. Disappointed that the kitchen staff showed no care as the salad leaves were brown. (Rotten). Gave to server on a plate to show kitchen No heard another word. Left feeling disappointed as we eat there 2-4 times a month. With family.

We come to Barleylands often. Second lunch at Tiptree Tea Room. Great food, reasonable prices although the kids meals are quite bland. My kids like an adult menu in a smaller portion. Still worth 5 stars though. We'll be back...
The Barleylands tea room is a must. I've been 3 times for the cream tea and it's been great everytime. You get some much food that if you don't manage everything they give you a box to take it home with you. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go again.
