Still Inept and rude staff
too much stuff on the shelves, annoying when people do weeks shopping when I just want to pay for fuel..usually more expensive that any other near petrol stations.
Few reasons to hate this garage:1. Busy location. People park in here to wait for people arriving at the station. And on one occasion a few months ago one of those people reversed into my car as they left a parking bay. 2. Poor etiquette. Queuing for pumps can be frustrating. On a number of occasions I see people just parking by the pump and using just the shop. 3. Jobsworth night staff. It was midnight and only one lady served from the night window. The garage was completely empty but she refused to get 2 pints of semi-skimmed milk for me. "I'm not insured to walk on the shop floor", she wasn't insured to walk.. on the shop floor. Just in case she forgot how to walk, and some how smashed her face into a pimpf of neatly stacked loo roll, and somehow broke a finger. She won't be insured to have a juicy claim up from Sir M&S. I pointed to the milk even just to reiterate that the milk was just over her shoulder, so close yet so far. She manages a petrol station, a highly hazardous and toxic facility which pumps out insanely flammable fuels for customers, but yet.. She can't grab 2 pints of milk from one aisle away because.. she might not come back alive. This has obviously bugged me this point but surely you can understand the frustration here.4. Petrol and diesel is always above average UK price.
