Good prices on strings, large selection of acoustic instruments. Staff helpful and knowledgeable. Luthier services look reasonably priced.
Staff are pretty rude, most products in the store are pretty pricey and could be beaten on price elsewhere / online.... will not be going back anytime soon.
I just wanted to thank String Salon for an excellent service which was the best ever. The ukulele I ordered arrived next day, very well packaged and in perfect order. The staff were helpful, courteous and knowledgeable throughout the buying process. I have dealt with many music shops/suppliers over the years and String Salon is up there with the best. Well done String Salon, I cant praise you enough!
First of all this is such a well stocked shop. I recently decided to enrol on a course to learn to play the ukelele and Joanne was very helpful and friendly, knows her stuff and was able to guide me to purchase the right ukelele for me. I can't wait to start learning and the lessons are great value.
The guy behind the counter was clearly more interested in chatting up his coworker than serving customers and clearly had no knowledge of guitars/strings
