The server was very rude at first and made remark at my friend, my food was over cooked and didn't taste very nice. But it was corrected straight away by the manager on duty, they compensated the table with free drinks/food and recooked food we may come back to give this establishment another try.
I'm sorry but 45 minutes is far too slow for a lunch time food order, especially considering is was very quiet. People typically get an hour for lunch, making this place not an option for working folk. We keep trying every 6 months to see if anything changes, but alas no. You're losing business to this, the food itself is good.
Dont go! Tried to have a drink here at 8:40pm 18/01/19 and turned away as me and my boyfriend had been to ASK Italian and had some left over pizza in a box! The security guard said no mate you cant come in with a pizza box even though we were willing and paying customers. He then argued rudely. Why would you not let someone in with a box? You can really tell the difference between London and Billericay... London is welcome yet not in Essex. Shame really as theyre losing out on customers.
Absolutely rubbish place. They brought my burger without tomato slices, as in the menu. The slaw salad was a bit more than a drop and I had to request it as it was forgotten. Never again will I set foot in there or recommend it. Later edit: my dessert took 30 mins to arrive, the chef simply forgot to do it. Cheap and disgusting place.
I enjoyed having a drink in this pub. It had a nice atmosphere and comfortable, nice looking seats. It felt cosy. The bar staff seemed helpful and friendly and they seemed pleased to serve me. The music was nice, and I enjoyed the selection of 80s music that they were playing, it brought back some nice memories for me. I liked the decor and the spacious feel of this pub.
