Excellent sunbeds always very welcoming
I had a manicure and pedicure last week with Glos new therapist Cerys. I was her first client on her first day at work and was really impressed with how professional she was and even more happy that nearly a week later my nail polish has lasted. Would highly recommend Glo always friendly and made to feel welcome
I booked in for a massage on Saturday 31/3/18 at 3.45pm (I was looking forward to this all week!). I arrived at the salon 3min early and sat in reception while the lady went to prepare the room. I was then asked to come down and get changed. I waited about 3-4minutes for her to come back and when she did she asked me if I would like a firm massage. I confirmed that I did, and firm pressure on the areas I indicated would be appreciated. I noticed an awful smell in the room when she returned and then I realised she was not wearing any shoes!!!! She was just wearing small pop sock things on her feet, and the stench was absolutely horrendous, really awful. I thought - maybe it won't be so bad if she moves around but it just kept wafting back up. I felt too embarrassed to tell her but it was exceptionally unpleasant and I don't see why she needed to take her slip on shoes on for me to have a back massage??!?!? During the massage I requested for the pressure to be firmer (for all of about 2 seconds). It then stopped at 4.08pm (as I looked at my phone when I got dressed). I was absolutely outraged. When I went to the desk to pay her she had put her shoes back on!?!?... and I said "how long was that massage meant to be, 30 minutes?", she replied it was - and I said "well it wasn't was it". She said "oh I thought we went down early" and I told her that we did not (As I didn't even leave my house on Chapel St until 3.35pm! so 100% was not even close to 30mins). She asked the other lady who was disinterested and vacuuming the carpet whilst I was paying (really not very relaxing especially considering there was so time until closing), who just shrugged and grunted. I said again "it was not 30 minutes, I'm really disappointed, and I'll pay because you did a massage but I'm not happy." I went home and was absolutely fuming - and I am still really annoyed. To be quite honest I should have just said I didn't wish to pay the full amount because a) it was a really poor quality massage for what I'd requested and spoken about with her, b) her feet smelt disgusting and soured the massage experience, and c) the treatment was not carried out as seen on the treatment menu. If you can please email me back ( I have emailed you on your website) to discuss this I would appreciate that, and tell me what has been said to the staff member in question. I look forward to hearing from you.
Great friendly place. Waxing, facial and sun beds also spray tan. Excellent.

Please drop by the salon and verify yourself and I will give you free 60 minute sunbed course as a good will gesture!
