Just had a very poor experience on the phone, called up to get a quote for insurance, looking to insure the vehicle in a month and a half a time and got told I was wasting their time. I fully understand that your underwriters won't honour a quote for that amount of time, however I just wanted a ballpark figure to see roughly what I'd be looking at in comparison to other companies, but your advisor didn't want to hear it. Very rude, very abrupt, absolutely no tact at all - extremely disappointed because I've had very reasonable quotes from you in the past, however this experience has guaranteed that I won't be calling you back closer to the time. Very disappointed.
Not sure who I just spoke to on the phone, but got the absolute worst attitude. Previously had no issues with customer service from these guys but today was next level.I was a customer for three years up until last year when I left it too late to renew and was forced to go with a company that was open on a Sunday. Called up to retrieve quote prices today as I was keen to return to GL (the other day they said they'd have to email around) and when they asked what the best renewal was, I told them that it wasn't any lower than when I called before as I didn't have any other quotes to compare. Whoever was on the phone said "well whatever we quote they'll just match and you'll go with them again". He didn't agree with me that this was a negative attitude so I told him not to bother.Not really the best way to treat returning customers (or any customers for that matter). Will definitely never use GL again.
Very very disappointed after hearing good things.I filled out a online quote form and waited for a call back no contact made after 5 days. So I decided to give them a call. The person I spoke to sounded half asleep! I gave them some details said how much flux offered me and they basically said we cant beat that but thanks for trying and slammed the phone down!! They didnt even bother asking me about modifications to the car! Really? Went back to flux and they offered me a lower price on my renewal then previously quoted. Thanks for wasting my time!
Fantastic, professional customer service, highly recommend for car enthusiasts. The quote provided was better by over 400 than any other insurer. Finally an insurance company who deal with you like a human being and insure your pride and joy for a great price.
It's never cheap trying to run a modified car of any sort when you're under 30 but Greenlight made it affordable for me. Their customer service on the phone has always been excellent (even when I screwed up the information on my quote!).
