Reception staff are lovely but if you need an appointment......don't hold your breath! Call at 8am and by time you get through appointments have gone....call 6.30pm for emergency doctor and your lucky if you get through ....indeed I was put through to laindon medical center as the phones had a problem!!!!!! Even after surgery with an infected wound, appointments are like gold dust and I've ended up at the hospital as in the two days of trying to get an appointment I developed sepsis........For anyone unlucky enough to move into their catchment area......hope your healthy!
Possibly the worst doctors surgery around, over the past 7 years of being registered with them I have been able to make an appointment 3 maybe 4 times. Dr Sarfraz I understand was struck off due to miss diagnosing patients resulting in death and his daughter in law has taken over the surgery but recently has also disappeared. One receptionist in particular has a foul attitude problem, either not a peoples person or is real man hater. I have tried and tried to make an appointment to see the doctor over the recent years but have now given up with them, I have had to rely on NHS 111 and A&E for non-emergency illnesses because quite frankly this surgery is useless. No wonder our hospitals are constantly on black bed because such surgery's as this simply couldn't care less, the best being told by this certain arrogant receptionist to go to Basildon A&E with an ear infection as I was due to fly aboard and they couldnt give me an appointment... I was not prepared to go to A&E and use a bed I didnt need when someone a lot worse than me may have needed it. I flew to Spain and saw a doctor within 4 hours of landing in the country and given antibiotics straight away. There have been plenty of times I have rung and rung the surgery to get an appointment and record time with the phone being answered by 8.03am, all appointments were taken... REALLY??!! I have waited on their doorstep at 7.55am to try get an appointment by this point I had been trying for 6 days to get seen with a serious on-going condition I have and again needed antibiotics desperately.. GUESS WHAT once again ALL APPOINTMENTS GONE, had to laugh considering they hadn't even answered the phone once whilst I was in there begging for an emergency appointment. Funny enough it was the same snotty receptionist that told me if I feel that bad then to go to Basildon hospital which resulted in a long stay there because the infection was so fierce. If I had been able to see the doctor I am registered to in the first place it would not have got so out of hand. All in all this surgery is shockingly disgusting, they have no peoples skills, no respect for their patients considering they are a service people at their lowest are supposed to rely and depend on. They need closing down or a serious kick up the back side.
The Girls Behind the Desk and nurse are Lovely Only thing make this Surgery Bad is The Doctor so Rude
